Shooting at wedding leaves one dead

BIRGUNJ, May 12: A man died after shots were fired at a wedding as a part of merriment.



The incidence took place at Bhauratar-8, Parsa, Wednesday night. Inspector Bhim Kiran Bogati identified the deceased as 35-year-old Harendra Sah from the groom´s side.



Ramprit Paswan, a local, was injured. Shots were fired at the wedding party at 10pm. Police have arrested Paras Sah and Bagad Sah suspecting their involvement in the shooting. Villagers suspect the killing was an accident.



In Tarai districts, shots are customarily fired at wedding parties.
