KATHMANDU, April 10: Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the District Administration Office (DAO), Parsa to keep Samajbadi Party lawmaker Padip Yadav in quarantine after he was found to have visited a quarantine center in Raxaul near the Nepal-India border.

BIRGUNJ, June 17: The work of laying petroleum pipeline underground from Motihari of India to Amlekhgunj of Bara on Nepal side has been fully completed.

BIRGUNJ, Dec 21: The ongoing protest against pollution in Raxaul of India is likely to affect over a dozen cement factories in Birgunj-Pathlaiya Industrial Corridor.

Along the 1,751 km-long open border that India and Nepal share, there are some 22 specified routes for Nepal-India bilateral trade and transit. BIRGUNJ, July 18: People from both Nepal and India are facing trouble for their cross movement due to lack of proper traffic management in Raxaul border point. The locals have complained that they were facing problems in the movement as Raxaul Railway Siding and Integrated Customs Post (ICP) were running in poor management.
