KATHMANDU, July 15: The number of electronic transactions has increased significantly during the first half of the fiscal year 2022/23. In May/June  2023 alone, the number of electronic transactions stood at a staggering 98 million, worth Rs 4.4 trillion. Comparatively, during the same period last year, the number of electronic transactions was 63 million worth Rs 5.4 trillion.

KALIKOT, July 3: Parvati Singh ( Sanjyal ), the newly-elected vice chairperson of Sanitriveni Rural Municipality, Kalikot, has been visiting the eligible people in the rural municipality at their homes for the distribution of the social security allowance. She said she is visiting homes not only to distribute the allowance but also to thank the voters and also to plan for the coming year.

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: The number of mobile banking users has increased by over 4.5 times in the past four years. According to a report recently published by Nepal Rastra Bank – Situation of Access to Finance in Nepal 2019 – the number of mobile banking users has gone up from 1.75 million to 8.35 million.
