INRUWA, April 17: A minor died after falling off a commuter bus at Koshi rural municipality-8, Bhantabari area on Tuesday. The deceased is identified as Nur Salam, a 10-year-old son of local Yusuf Miya, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal.
JODHPUR, April 25: A Jodhpur court on Wednesday convicted self-styled godman Asaram of raping a minor girl, dashing the hopes of thousands of followers who claim he is innocent. The special court also convicted two others in the 2013 case amid watertight security, letting off two of his alleged accomplices.
NEW DELHI, April 18: In another shocker, a 12-year-old mentally challenged girl was raped by her neighbour along with two of his friends in Delhi’s Rohini. The matter was highlighted after the accused had shared the rape video with parents on WhatsApp. Taking cognizance of the matter, the Delhi Police arrested the accused from their house in the national capital.
ITAHARI, Feb 5: Police on Sunday filed a case against Surendra Bahadur Karki, 28, on charge of raping a ten-year-old girl of Itahari. Karki, a local of Khatyad, Mugu, was temporarily living in ward-8 of Itahari.
KHOTANG, Jan 28: An eight year girl from Rupakot Majhugadi-10, Patheka was raped and later killed on January 24 by an accused 16 year, Jiudhan Rai. The minor’s body was found buried in the bank of Chimchima river.

ANKARA, Turkey, Feb 6: Turkey's seismology center says a 5.3-magnitude earthquake, centered beneath the Aegean sea, shook the Turkish coast. The state-run news agency said the quake damaged a number of houses in five villages and at least four people were injured.
