NBSM took action against over 19,000 firms accused of tampering measuring devices to cheat consumers

KATHMANDU, August 25: The Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology (NBSM), in the last fiscal year, took actions against 19,014 firms and service providers from across the country, who were found cheating their customers by not properly maintaining their measuring devices.

KATHMANDU, May 12: Measurement of the height of Mount Everest, that began two years ago, has completed. According to the Department of Survey, the task of data processing is underway and is already in the final stage.
