The local levels of Mechinagar, Haldibari, Buddhashanti, Kankai, Kamala, Damak, Gauradaha, Shivasatakshi, Arjundhara and Birtamod have resorted to restriction to contain the spread of coronavirus.
JHAPA, Aug 7: A man was killed in an elephant attack here in the wee hours today. The Area Police Office, Damak has identified the deceased as Rohit Regmi,58, of Tukre of Kamal Rural Municipality-5, Jhapa.

DAMAK, Nov 9: Police on Tuesday morning impounded four trucks with 50 bulls which were being taken to Jhapa from Morang.
