KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Statistics from the Ministry of Health and Population show that the corona infection rate in Nepal has been declining for the past few days. The transmission rate, which stood at 50.8 percent on January 23, is slowly declining.

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: In the last 24 hours, the COVID-19 infection rate in Nepal stood at 41.5 percent. The infection rate is 5 percentage points lower than the previous day. Of the total 20,359 samples tested in the last 24 hours, 8,454 were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, June 20: The COVID-19 infection rate in Nepal has sharply decreased. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the infection rate is 14.3 percent as of Saturday.

KATHMANDU, May 30: The rate of infection of coronavirus decreased by 16 percent in Nepal, when compared with the rate a month ago. The infection rate was 44 to 46 percent, which decreased to 30 percent on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, May 25: Experts estimate that the COVID infection rate will decrease after four weeks.

Nepal’s COVID-19 infection rate was 12.8 percent on Thursday which reached 14.61 percent on Friday.
