Director Hem Lama no more

Veteran film director Hem Bahadur Lama has passed away at the age of 94. According to family sources, he was admitted to a hospital after suffering a heart attack and died on Sunday at 1:15 PM at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. His funeral rites were conducted today at Swayambhu at 3 PM according to Buddhist tradition. Artists and well wishers paid tributes to his body at his residence in Baluwatar today afternoon.

JHAPA, Sept 22: The last rites of Sangita Rajbanshi, a Nepali migrant worker who died on September 10 in the Maldives, have been performed today morning at a local crematorium at Mechinagar Municipality-10 in Jhapa.
