Population Minister Basnet calls for making migration systematic

KATHMANDU, July 11: Minister for Health and Population Mohan Bahadur Basnet has said that declining population growth rate and fertility rate could be a risk factor for development in the long run though it is a positive indicator for the immediate effect.

KATHMANDU, Dec 12: The Ministry of Health and Population on Friday released the Nepal Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) Report 2022 which shows that the fertility rate in Nepal has decreased by 50 percent in two decades.
