Police and APF Prepare Divers for Monsoon Disaster Rescue Operations

KATHMANDU, June 2: The Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) have formed teams of divers to effectively respond to disasters during the monsoon season this year. Nineteen APF divers and one Nepal Police (NP) personnel have successfully completed their diving training.

The Canadian documentary filmmaker and conservationist Rob Stewart disappeared while diving off Florida’s southern coast during the filming of a movie about sharks, the US Coast Guard reported Wednesday.
