KATHMANDU, May 28: Despite criticism from various quarters, the government has given continuity to the Local Infrastructure Development Program (LIDP), previously known as the Constituency Development Fund.

KATHMANDU, May 25: A special committee formed by the Nepali Congress has said that it is appropriate to either readjust or suspend the Constituency Development Fund which was later renamed as Local Infrastructure Development Partnership Program.

KATHMANDU, May 30: Despite criticism from various quarters, the government has decided to provide Rs 60 million to each lawmaker in the House of Representatives elected under the First Past the Post (FPTP) system, for the development of their respective constituencies.
