Learnings from Covid-19

Coronavirus outbreak is a global pandemic that has ravaged the world instilling anxiety, fear, and negativity in almost every one of us. It has forced us to confine ourselves to our homes suppressing our human impulses for connection and making social distancing the new normal. However, maintaining social distancing isn’t as easy as we thought it to be. Not because we don’t like staying at our homes but because humans are innately social and have always lived in groups. Therefore, when we are forced to physically stay away from others it disrupts our fundamental need for human connection.

Life under lockdown

It is not an understatement to say that the COVID-19 virus has changed the world. The whole world is in panic and disorder right now. The fact that we don’t know when this will come to an end is even scarier to contemplate. The majority of the countries across the globe are in lockdown. People are told to stay indoors to minimize the spread of the coronavirus as much as possible. Being in lockdown might seem unsettling for the majority of people right now, but I am used to it. I have been on mental and physical lockdown for the last four and a half years. However, I am still fighting to not let the lockdown lock my life down.
