KATHMANDU, July 27: Imagine being on the top of the world, where the horizon stretches infinitely in all directions and the sense of accomplishment washes over you as you stand atop a majestic peak. One such intrepid soul who knows this feeling all too well is photojournalist Purnima Shrestha.

KATHMANDU, May 16: Photojournalist turned alpinist Purnima Shrestha has successfully scaled Mt Lhotse (8,516 meters) at 8AM today. Shrestha shared the news of her successful summit along with her expedition organizer, 8K Expeditions, through social media today.
