KATHMANDU, March 10: Hearing on a writ petition filed against Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the Supreme Court has started. Petitioners’ lawyers have started making their arguments before a single bench of Justice Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada.

KATHMANDU, March 10: The writ petition filed at the Supreme Court (SC) demanding the immediate arrest of and investigation into Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is also the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), holding him responsible for the deaths and destruction during the decade-long Maoist armed insurgency, could not be heard on Thursday. The first hearing of the case was scheduled for Thursday, but the hearing did not take place because the bench could not manage time to hear the case. The next hearing is scheduled for Friday.
