KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Onion prices have more than doubled over past one and half months. The price has skyrocketed during the festive season where consumption of onion is very high.

DHAKA/MUMBAI, July 24: Onion prices in Bangladesh have doubled over the past two weeks after floods ravaged the crop and as imports from top supplier India became expensive after New Delhi withdrew incentives for overseas sales, industry officials told Reuters.
