Jhulaghat border point along Nepal-India border to remain open for five days targeting Indian pensioners

BAITADI, Nov 21: In view of facilitating Indian ex-servicemen to receive their pension, local authorities in Baitadi have decided to open Jhulaghat entry point along the Nepal-India border point in the far western Nepal for five days. The border point remains closed for the past several months as the government has decided to restrict cross-border movement to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Middlemen obstruct movement of Nepal-bound cargo trucks at Bhairahawa-Sunauli border point

KATHMANDU, June 6: A large number of Nepal-bound cargo trucks have been stuck on the Indian side of the Nepal-India border at Belahiya-Sunauli, after the Indian middlemen assisting in the customs clearance obstructed the movement across the border.
