KATHMANDU, June 13: In its first official reaction after the House of Representatives unanimously endorsed the constitution amendment bill to pave the way for replacing Nepal’s map in the national emblem with the country’s new political and administrative map that includes Kalapani, Lipu Lekh and Limpiyadhura, India has said that “Nepal’s claim is not based on historical evidences.”
KATHMANDU, May 31: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), has officially decided to extend its support to the constitution amendment bill related to the new political map of the country put forth by the government in parliament.

Amidst a televised press conference at the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management at Singha Durbar on Wednesday, Minister Padma Aryal unveiled the new political and administrative map of Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: The upper house of parliament on Thursday directed the government to settle boundary issues with India, unanimously endorsing a resolution motion that demands the reclaiming of the Nepali territories of Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura from encroachment by the Indian side.
KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has urged the government to initiate diplomatic efforts to resolve the border dispute emerged in the Kalapani region at the earliest, arguing the erstwhile CPN-UML had gathered some evidences to substantiate the claim that Limpiyadhura falls in the Nepali territory.
The Indo-Nepal border dispute at Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani is getting intense. It is a serious allegation to the government head at a time when the government has sent a ‘note verbale’ for immediate round table meeting to solve the dispute.
KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Two separate writ petitions were filed at the Supreme Court on Wednesday, demanding that the court order the government to protect the Nepali territories of Kalapani, Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Susta.
