The decision comes after Mayor Balendra Shah's secretariat issued instructions to the metropolitan police to ensure compliance with the new directive.

Pakistan said on Thursday (Aug 8) it would ban the screening of Indian films in the country's cinemas, as tensions between the two countries rise over the contested Kashmir region.
