KATHMANDU, Dec 22: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, has said the country has moved ahead in the path of prosperity through the energy sector.

KATHMANDU, Dec 22: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the Inaruwa substation of Nepal Electricity Authority today. The Inaruwa substation is considered one of the important projects for strengthening the power transmission and distribution system.

KATHMANDU, Oct 17: In order to strengthen the electricity transmission and distribution system within the country, the construction of 400 kV Inaruwa Substation has been completed in Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-4 of Sunsari. The construction of the second largest 400 kV substation of Nepal, based on the Gas Insulated System (GIS), was completed and operated (charged) on Monday.
