597 towers being constructed for Arun-III; each affected household to get 30 units of free electricity

KATHMANDU, May 22: The electricity transmission line of the 900 megawatt Arun-III hydropower project under construction in Sankhuwasabha is going to be built in seven districts. The Arun-III project is going to build 597 towers for the transmission line in Sankhuwasabha, Bhojpur, Khotang, Udayapur, Siraha, Mahottari and Dhanusha districts.
PTC India to buy electricity generated from Arun-III

KATHMANDU, August 6: The market for the electricity generated by the Arun-III hydropower project being built by India in Nepal has been ensured. The electricity of the hydropower being built by SJVN Arun-III Power Development Company under Sutluj Hydropower Development Corporation (SJVN) will be bought by PTC India.
