The UML sister wing padlocked the office accusing the party of not taking initiative to free Youth Force member Basu Baral who has been sent to jail on the charge of thrashing Maoist cadres.
The Youth Association cadres have been picketing the office while UML politburo member Prithvi Subba Gurung and district leaders of the party are busy in internal talks to resolve the issue.
