Youth dies in tractor-motorbike collision

RAJBIRAJ, May 13: A pillion rider lost his life when a motorbike collided with a stationary tractor on the road at Rayapur VDC in Saptari at 9.15 pm on Saturday.





Bijali Sharma, a local of Rajbiraj-8, died on the spot after the motorbike (Ko 7 Pa 7974) en route to Rajbiraj from Rupani met with accident along the Rajpur-Rapani road section. [break]



Seriously injured motorbike rider Sunil Sharma of Baklauri-3, Sunsari is being treated at Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, Rajbiraj.



The motorbike collided with a tractor (Ko 1 Ta 8810) being parked on the road, confirmed Sub Inspector at Area Police Office, Rupani, Biswonath Yadav.



Absconding tractor driver is being searched for, said the police office.
