Youth CA members stands for consensus

KATHMANDU, Oct 12: Youth Constituent Assembly members have urged top leaders of the major political parties to forge consensus for timely promulgation of a new constitution.



They said this during an interaction organised on the premises of Singha Durbar on Tuesday as part of their campaign to pressure for timely constitution drafting. [break]



On the occasion, CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal stressed for national consensus for statute writing.



Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Poudel said the UCPN (Maoist) and the CPN-UML should make public their stands on federalism and the form of governance.



Youth CA members Binda Pandey, Gagan Thapa and Rabindra Adhikari said that parties should immediately resolve contentious issues delaying constitution writing process.
