BEJHAD, Nov 16: Police here have arrested a youth on the charge of raping a seven-year-old girl at local Rampur. The arrestee is 22-year-old Kausar Alam of Dhangraul, Betiya, Bihar State of India who has been working as a daily wager in Rampur, the Area Police Office, Rampur stated.

Alam was absconding after committing the crime at 4pm on Thursday. He was arrested from Materi, Rampur municipality-5, at 9pm on Thursday, Chief of the Area Police Office, Bhoj Raj Pandey, said.
Alam has been forwarded to the District Administration Offce, Palpa on Friday for necessary action.
