Yeti Airlines plane crash: 8 bodies found
KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Yeti Airlines ATR 72 plane has crashed in Pokhara. Eight dead bodies have been found from the accident site.
Suicidologists urge media to stop glorifying suicides
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the plane that was flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara this morning crashed near the old airport. There were 68 people on board, including crew members. There is now a fire at the plane crash site. Locals, security personnel and ambulance have been mobilized for rescue.
Pokhara International Airport Information Officer Bishnu Prasad Adhikari has confirmed the accident. Yeti Airlines spokesperson Sudarshan Bertaula said that the aircraft with the call sign 9N-AMC took off from Kathmandu at 10:33 PM.
