Likewise, preparations have been made to send the bodies of those unidentified, foreign nationals and those whose family members live in Kathmandu to the federal capital city via a helicopter.

Out of the 72 people on board the aircraft, the bodies of 67 have been retrieved and taken to the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences for examination. Five more bodies are yet to be recovered.

Assistant CDO Shahi shared that although three bodies were noticed they could not be pulled out of the gorge due to difficult topography of the crash site.

The rescue work in the Seti gorge was withheld due to geographical constraints last night and has resumed this morning, Shahi said.
