The rally started from Dasharath Stadium with a slogan "Peace and Constitution; Our Future" and rounded different parts of the city, including Sundhara, Newroad, Ratnapark and converged into a corner assembly Rastriya Sabha Ghriha.[break]
Speaking at the programme, State Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Dilli Mahat stressed for restoring peace in the country. "Lasting peace prevails in the country if every family live in peace."
Similarly, different organisations working for women´s welfare organised awareness programmes expressing their commitment for the peace day today.
Likewise, a morning rally was organised in Rajbiraj of Saptari district to mark the peace day. The rally started from the premises of Shiva temple, rounded different parts of the city and converged into a corner assembly.
