DAMAK, September 4: A worker died after falling from an under-construction house at Damak of Jhapa district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Bishwokarma of Surunga of Kankai Municipality in the district.
Bishwokarma, who was a labourer employed for construction of the house belonging to Hasta Bahadur Limbu of Damak-5, sustained critical injuries after falling from the third floor of the under construction house and died while undergoing treatment at Damak-based Lifeline Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at Damak Area Police Office, Deepak Giri.
Investigation into the incident was underway, said Giri.
