Women’s Special Week campaign by Ford

KATHMANDU, March 10: On the back of International Women’s Day, celebrated on Sunday, automaker Ford has launched an initiative it has called Women’s Special Week which, its Nepal distributor GO Ford says, hopes to encourage more women to drive and also offers special gift hampers.

During period of this initiative, all female customers who walk into a Ford showroom, test drive or book a Ford vehicle, or get their vehicles valued at Ford centers will get special gifts or gift hampers in addition to regular discounts and offers. “Apart from this, a special Women’s Week badge is being distributed to all customers and staff,” GO Ford said in a statement issued on Monday.

During the week -- March 8-13 - the GO Ford Team -- men and women -- will wear the badge to acknowledge that they are equal partners in bringing equality and dignity to women.
