I wish
That parents didn’t cry over their infants gender
That blue wasn’t just a guy color and pink just for girls
Because girls don’t just play with dolls
And guys don’t only fiddle with swords
Flowers aren’t only she and trucks only he
Guy’s don’t only represent muscles
And girls not all dainty
Men and women are born equal
Until society drags the women down
Only offering men the privilege of elevators
In the beam balance, the women weigh less
While the men go soaring high into the sky
It’s so unfair
Investigation finds 4 to 5 km of Sikta canal vulnerable
That a women is treated unequal
Because she sheds blood once every month
Or does not have the physical strength as a man
Her gender does not make her blood different
Her gender does not make her mind different
It does not make her success different
Tell her she can’t climb the mountain
For she is a girl, she can’t drive
Or own a business, or can’t achieve anything And she will climb higher than you ever could
Achieve more than anyone
Because her gender does not make her ability different
She has a place on same throne as everyone else
And deserves the same respect
For one day
She might just be the CEO you’re working for.
