The deceased has been identified as Rojana Roka, 57, of Kamalghari of Ghorahi Municipality-8. [break]
According to the District Police Office, Dang, Roka died when an over-speeding bus (Ba 2 Kha 1152) heading towards Tulsipur from Ghorahi hit her at Mainroad in Ghorahi.
Roka breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Rapti Sub-Regional Hospital, Ghorahi.
Following the accident, police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle, it is learnt.
