Woman dies of snake bite in Sindhuli

SINDHULI, June 9: A woman has died after being bitten by a snake in Sindhuli.

The deceased has been identified as Shiva Kumari Karki, 62, of Dudhauli Municipality-12, Kartha, Sindhuli.

Karki was bitten by a snake in her own home this morning (Friday).

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Sindhuli, Chiranjibi Dahal, after receiving general treatment at a hospital of Dudhauli Municipality 7, Karki was taken to Karjana Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital in Siraha for further treatment and died during treatment.
