Woman buried to death

DANG, Feb 18: A woman has been buried to death while digging clay in the district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Mina Oli, 30, of Purandhara-3, DSP Paregnarayn Chaudhary of Area Police Office, Hapure told Republica Online.

Oli died after a mound of earth she was digging at caved in and fell over her at Pathihalne in the district.

Similarly, her friend Bhumisara BK of the same VDC sustained injuries in the incident.

Injured BK has been taken to Tulsipur for treatment while police are making preparations to send Oli’s body to Tulsipur for postmortem, said Chaudhary.

BK and Oli had gone to fetch clay to coat their houses on Shivaratri festival, according to locals.
