KAILALI, Oct 25: A woman here was arrested on the charge of axing her husband to death.
Laxmi Bista, 25, of Shitalpur, Ghodaghodi Municipality allegedly attacked her husband Lal Bahadur Bista, 32, on the neck in a fit of anger following a family dispute, the District Police Office Kailali said. Police arrested Laxmi from Thumki of Ghodaghodi. The incident occurred Monday.
Meantime, a woman here who accidentally consumed acid mistaking it for alcohol is struggling for life.
The victim is Sunita Chaudhary of Banskheda-10. Her condition further deteriorated due to negligence in her treatment, as claimed by the family source. Her husband Hemraj Chaudhary said Sunita burnt her gut in the acid consumption and a doctor at the local City Polyclinic performed an endoscopy on her that aggravated the problem.
She is in critical condition. Initially she was rushed to the Seti Zonal Hospital but the Hospital refereed her to another place where the endoscopy services were available, citing hospital endoscopy machine remained defunct, he said. RSS
