Woman arrested for murdering 10-month-old daughter

SARLAHI, July 12: Police have arrested a woman on the charge of murdering her 10-month-old daughter.

According to District Police Office, Sarlahi, Lalita Devi of Salempur-1 killed her daughter and threw the dead body in a canal at around 12 am on Tuesday.

Police said the woman has accepted the crime, adding that they are investigating the case.
