With 75 news cases, coronavirus case tally in Gandaki Province reaches 2,903

POKHARA, Sept 13: With 75 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the past 24 hours, the COVID-19 case tally in Gandaki Province has soared to 2,903.

POKHARA, Sept 13: With 75 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the past 24 hours, the COVID-19 case tally in Gandaki Province has soared to 2,903.


According to the Province Health Directorate, 75 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Thirty-seven more people who had earlier tested positive for the virus were discharged after recovery from various health institutions and isolation centers in the past 24 hours. “As of today, altogether 1,849 have returned home after recovery,” said Binod Bindu Sharma, spokesperson for the Directorate.


As the province is grappling with COVID-19, 24 people have succumbed to coronavirus in the province since the coronavirus outbreak began.


The province authorities have conducted 55,737 PCR tests. “Of the total PCR tests, 52,834 turned negative,” Sharma added.
