KATHMANDU, July 29: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 210 new cases of coronavirus, taking the country's COVID-19 tally to 19,273.
At a regular media briefing, Jageshwar Gautam, the ministry spokesperson said that 210 new cases of COVID-19 were detected during PCR tests conducted at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours. There are currently 5,203 active cases of coronavirus in the country, according to him.

According to Gautam, 146 persons who earlier tested positive for COVID-19 were discharged after recovery from various isolation centers in the past 24 hours.
"With new 146 cases of recovery, the country's recovery tally has surged to 14, 021," the spokesperson said.
The country's COVID-19 death toll stands at 49, according to Gautam.
