Wife strikes hubby to death

RASUWA, Aug 11: A woman has killed his husband by hitting him with a cudgel at Kalika rural municipality-2, Chitrepani.

According to District Police Office, Rasuwa 42-year-old Mangali Maya Lopchan murdered her husband Mingmar Singi Lopchan, 44, over a minor dispute.

A preliminary investigation carried out by the police, Mangali struck him on his head and face with a cudgel on the premises of the house while he was arriving home drunk on Thursday night, said DSP Santosh Tamang.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the wife into custody.
