KATHMANDU, March 31: A Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) Airbus 320 bound for Kathmandu from Dubai had to be diverted from its course and make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday.
The pilot diverted NAC airbus with Call Sign 9NAKW and made an emergency landing in New Delhi after an inebriated passenger who misbehaved with the crew members as well as the passengers. The miscreant was Nepali national Sushil Ratel of Morang district.
According to sources, Ratel had taken alcohol before he boarded the plane. He had to be pinned down to the floor with a rope to control the situation.
