What Tharuhat leaders say on Tikapur incident

KATHMANDU, Aug 24: Tharuhat leaders have expressed deep sorrow over the recent Tikapur incident in Kailali on Monday and squarely blamed police and local administration for invoking 'peaceful protests' to turn worst.

The incident is an outcome of police intervention. Police opened fire at the protestors who were on their way to erase 'Nepal Government' and replace with 'Tharuhat Government' in government offices boards.
