KATHMANDU, Oct 30: The Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has released a Tihar Special Weather Bulletin detailing the weather for the upcoming four days of the festival.
According to the bulletin issued on Wednesday, there is a likelihood of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. The weather across the rest of the country is expected to be mostly clear.

Additionally, light snowfall may occur in the high hills and mountainous areas. The department also indicated that both maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to decrease across most regions during this period.
