KATHMANDU, Jan 12: The weather will be clear all over the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently no influence of a significant weather system in Nepal.

According to the MFD, the weather has been partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces since morning, while the weather is mainly clear in the rest of the areas, while most of the places in the Terai area are cloudy and foggy.

The MFD has said that the weather will be mostly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces this afternoon. Similarly, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Koshi provinces including Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces tonight.

Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces including hilly areas of Koshi province will experience partly cloudy weather while the rest of the area will be mostly clear on Saturday afternoon. At night, the weather will be mostly clear in hilly areas of the country including Gandaki province with partly cloudy skies in the rest of the country.

On Sunday afternoon, the weather will be mostly clear over the rest of the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
