KATHMANDU, Nov 3: There is a partial influence of the westerly winds in Nepal. The officials of the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology have said that the weather in the hilly areas of the country is partly cloudy while it is generally clear in the rest of the country.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country today, and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country. Light rain with thunder/lightning is likely at a few places in hilly areas of the country. Also, there is a possibility of light snowfall at a few places in the high hilly, and mountainous areas of the country.

The officials of MFD have said that the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country with partly cloudy skies tonight. It is also said that there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

The officials of MFD have requested the general public to avoid the chance of light rain with thunder/lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of the country and light rain/snowfall at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
