Weather to be generally clear across the country, partial showers in hill areas

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: The country has a general influence of westerly winds at present. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally clear across the country, with light showers in the hill areas.

This afternoon, there is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the highlands and Himalayan areas of Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hill areas of the country and the remaining areas will be generally clear tonight. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hill and Himalayan areas of Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki Province and Karnali Province.

As there is a possibility of light snowfall in the highlands and Himalayan areas of the country and there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the morning in the Terai areas due to which road and air traffic will be affected.
