How do you rate market for IT products in Nepal?
Like everywhere in the world, the demand for IT products is very positive. The attraction is more for wireless products including routers, wireless keyboards, mouse and so on. I hope the market of wireless products will continue to grow.

What are the major challenges for importers and distributors in Nepal?
There are a number of unauthorized companies who buy in bulk and sell the products. In this way, Nepal is becoming a dumping market as no standard is being followed while bringing such products. The grey market is another big challenge.
What can be done to address these problems?
The authority should take strict measures so that poor quality products don’t come here. Big projects are required from the government for us to expand our market and reach the masses. IPTV and Broadband highway should be implemented. Private sector can also play a key role in such projects.
