We are holding talks with Baidya for electoral alliance: Dahal

DHANGADHI, Sept 6: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday revealed that his party is in talks with CPN-Maoist, a breakaway faction of his party, for the electoral alliance for the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.



Speaking to reporters here at Dhangadhi Airport, Dahal said, “I met with CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya today itself and prospect of forging seat adjustment with them is very high."[break]



Dahal, who arrived for election campaign here, added that top leaders of the party are all set to contest the upcoming elections from the Far-West region.



Top leaders of the party including Dahal, Baburam Bhattarai, Post Bahadur Bogati, Lekh Raj Bhatta and Nawaraj Subedi are currently in Dhangadhi for the campaign.
