Ward member dies in utility pole accident

MAKWANPUR, Feb 28: A ward member of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-7, Makwanpur district, died after being crushed by a utility pole.
According to DSP Laxmi Bhandari of the District Police Office, Ram Kumar Titung, 40, died on Wednesday. He was hit by a falling pole on Tuesday afternoon.
Critically injured after the incident, he was rushed to Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda and then was referred to Bharatpur Medical College, Chitwan, where he died during the course of treatment.
