BHAKTAPUR, JULY 11: Dhan Bahadur Lama, ward chairman of Changunarayan Municipality Ward 6, Nagarkot, has carried out office works on the road, protesting against the Bhaktapur-Nagarkot road contractor for not constructing the road for a long time.

It has been said that Ward Chairman Lama has been working to provide services to the service recipients on a road of Lama Tol of the same ward since office hours on Monday morning. He is seen sitting on the street with a table and a chair and providing services to the service-seekers.

Ward Chairman Lama has carried out the work of the ward in a symbolic protest by pasting a banner demanding to build the Bhaktapur-Nagarkot road immediately. Chairman Lama said, "It has been a long time that the road has not been constructed. I am working for the people from the road to draw the attention of the contractor and the government.”

Even after more than eight years, Shailung Construction, owned by Sharada Prasad Adhikari, the owner of the house where CPN (Maoist Chairman) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been living, has not been able to complete the construction of the 17 km long Bhaktapur-Nagarkot road.
