NEPALGUNG, Jan 18: Krishna Bahadhur Khadka, the chairman of Kohalpur Municipality-12 who was found dead in a hotel in Baharaich, India, earlier this week had committed suicide after failing to repay bank loans, it has been learnt.
According to Khadka’s relatives, the deceased had taken Rs 2 million in loan from a bank. “Lately, Khadka was stressed as the bank had asked him to pay the loan installments at the earliest,” his relatives said.

Likewise, Khadka had also left a suicide note in his hotel room, as per the police investigation. In the note, Khadka stated that he was committing suicide after the bank pressured him to repay the loan installments at the earliest. In the note, Khadka has also mentioned that he didn’t get any financial support from his sons in the time of need.
