KATHMANDU, Dec 23: A two-day voucher fair kicked off at Brikuti Mandap of Kathmandu on Monday.
The fair is being organized by the Strengthening Vocational Education and Training Project. Deputy Director of the project Sudarshan Marahatta informed that the voucher-based training has been organized to give training and generate employment opportunities to 7500 people in the fiscal year 2019-20.

According to Marahatta, there are 58 stalls of various training agencies and the participants of the fair can get training from any agencies of their choice. "The participants can get job opportunities or can start their own businesses after attending training programs," he added.
Furthermore, Marahatta informed that 10,941 participants have been selected during the fair. "In the fair, participants will get the voucher and have to fill up that form in order to choose suitable training agencies for the skills they want to master," said Deputy Director Marahatta.
The fair will run until Tuesday.
